The Starfish Cottage has been renovated while maintaining all the charm of an old Florida Key West style bungalow. Enjoy the new private heated pool with lush tropical setting. The kitchen provides plenty of storage , a full sized refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, range and microwave. There's also an outdoor grill. The large screened in porch features a vaulted ceiling, large ceiling fans, plenty of seating and swing bench. On the porch a dining table accommodates 8 and a small bistro table seats 2.

Down the hall you'll find two comfortable bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and large closets.Master bedroom with en suite bathroom and another full bathroom is conveniently located in the hall. Climb up the spiral staircase to the quaint loft which has 2 twin beds.
The cottage is in a terrific location, immediately east of Gulf Drive, a quick 200-yard walk will bring you right to the white-sand beach. With Pine Avenue and the village of Anna Maria 2 short blocks to the north, you can walk to everything. Pine Avenue offers restaurants, shopping, community theater, historic Roser Church, and the Anna Maria Historical Society Museum. A free trolley is available to get you around the entire island all the way south to Coquina Beach. Scooter and golf cart rentals are located within 100 yards.
Free WiFi, flatscreen cable/smart TV, books, and board games provide entertainment, while a private washer/dryer lets you take care of laundry. Keyless entry at the front door ensures easy access and security. The driveway has space to park four vehicles.
A NOTE ABOUT CHILDREN: Kids love the loft area. However, the spiral staircase could be dangerous for younger children. Therefore, this property is not recommended for children under 8 years old.
Our pools are services weekly. Due to the tropical nature of the island , it is not unusual to find unexpected debris in the pool. Pool heaters will not operate if the outside temperatures get below 60F . There will be days when weather conditions will to allow pool heaters to accommodate swimming. No credit, discount, and /or rate adjustments can be granted for circumstances beyond our control.

Enjoyed our stay and property has excellent amenities. Had an issue with the AC but owners sought to resolve it promptly. Great attentiveness/responsiveness from owners.
Rasa & Remi were great! The location is fabulous, they supplied everything that you will need (bikes, beach toys, pool toys, beach towels, wagon, coolers, chairs, umbrellas, washer/dryer, etc) and the house is very nice! It was our first time on the island and we would return!

We loved our time here! Adorable property that was clean with lots of outdoor space. Easy walk to the beach with everything you need provided- beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and more! We loved that the bikes were provided free- we rode all over the island. Highly recommend!
What an amazing location! Just a short walk to the prettiest beach in Anna Maria, Bean Point! Close to all the fun and food on Pine Avenue. The unit itself was perfect for our family, well stocked with everything we needed. The kids loved the pool and all the sand toys provided. We would love to bring more family back and rent multiple units!
Easy walk to beach-umbrellas, towels, chairs all provided. We had an issue with the hot water in the shower, but Rasa and her husband came right out when I called. We had a great time.
This property is a short walk to the Bean Point beaches. It has two bedrooms with a shared bathroom and a nice living room and kitchen. But the best part is the outdoor patio and pool area. We enjoyed spending the daytime at the beach, and then coming back to the pool. There’s even a nice grill for a family barbecue. I would definitely stay here again.
The property was clean and had everything we needed. The short walk to the beach was great. We enjoyed the pool everyday. The north end of the island is residential and quiet.
We Loved our stay on AMI! It was our first visit to the island and we really didn't know much about AMI, and I wasn't really sure where to stay. Well, let me say, I did good on my blind knowledge selecting this home. I chose this home based on others reviews on the LOCATION and ammenities that were provided! and boy were they right. We were literally on the city Beach access path in less than a minutes walk. The owner is a very great host, and makes sure your stay has everything it needs. The bikes are Awesome as an added perk, we just needed to rent a kids bike for our 6 year old from down the street, but we all had bikes to ride which was awesome! also, the beach chairs and umbrellas provided were great, and made our beach time awesome. We also flew in from Texas so packed kind of light, and the owner provided the guests with a cooler. (We were so grateful to discover this!) great for packing a lunch, (or beverages) for the beach. The home was very clean and it was just the perfect accommodations for our family of four! I don't want to say book this you won't regret it, because the secret will be let out of the bag.... But.... Don't hesitate to book this sweet little "Old Florida" charming little cottage! it's quite the little gem! We will be back! Thanks Rasa for being such an amazing Host!
Our stay over the Memorial weekend was awesome! Nice place and location, with a short walk through the neighborhood to the beach. Pool was quiet and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying here! The house had everything we needed including beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and bikes! We were able to easily get around to nearby restaurants without a car and loved the 5 minute walk to the beach.
Fun getaway with a great island vibe
We enjoyed our stay at 404A. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of this property. It had everything our group needed. Nice, easy walk to the beach. The chairs and bikes provided were nice. Rasa was great to work with. We would definitely rent again!

We rented Unit A at the Blue Dolphin last minute during a very busy time on Anna Maria Island and we were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The photos do not do this charming little enclave justice! The unit itself was very clean with new linens and soft goods and a well stocked kitchen. The cold water knob in the shower was a little difficult to turn but honestly who can complain about an "old Florida" bathroom when you're in the midst of your casual beach vibe?!
We brought our children's bikes with us as we weren't sure of the condition of the bikes on site and again were VERY pleasantly surprised to find brand new beach cruisers at the ready for our family bike rides for donuts at the Donut Experiment or morning smoothies at North Shore Cafe.
As mentioned, the beach is a very short walk away with beach chairs and umbrellas and toys available for use. There is a washer/dryer on site, a heated pool, outdoor patio and everything you need for a lovely Anna Maria Island escape.
We highly recommend renting from Rasa and staying at the Blue Dolphin!
We flew from Houston to Anna Maria to visit for 5th time. We have stayed in several places and this one is one of our favorites. If we needed anything the owner Rosa knew it all and had it all. Everything was nice from start to finish . The beds in the rooms were very comfortable . Everything was clean and tidy . Shower worked great. Laundry room on site on your private patio . Outdoor shower right outside private patio ,clothes lines to hang your wet clothes, Beach chairs, beach umbrella ,stroller, pack n play, high chair . They made it so easy and saved us lots of money on rentals . We definitely recommend !
Absolutely loved our stay here. Within walking distance of the beach and the bay. This was a nice place, lots of privacy, comfortable etc. Would have liked to have had a few extra bath towels and toilet paper. Rasa was a lovely host and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back again!
